PostStupidist Thing You've Ever Been Told
by Lex-Man » Sun Oct 26, 2008 10:16 pm

Friday night (Well very early Saturday morning) I was coming home from a house party. One of my drunk friends went off on a massive rant. He starts telling me that the whole political system is massively corrupt and that is doesn't matter who wins the American election because both candidates are puppets. Who will basically do the same thing.

This stuff really annoys me, my friend is a conspiracy nut who believes in some vague plot to do some vague evil to the world. I ask he want the alternative to our current government system. After some prodding he tells me that the first thing to do is scrape money and then get rid of all laws. The mind boggles how this will make the world a better place but apparently if I think outside the box I can understand.

Anyway what is the stupidest thing anyone's said to you.

Amusement under late capitalism is the prolongation of work.

And a virgin. And the parents didn't have anything to do with it.

I heard two kids talking abou third world debt and poverty.

Kid A "Why dont we just print more ten pound notes and send them abroad then everyone would have money"
Kid B "Yeah or better yet print 20 pound notes"

:fp: And people say we have a good education system in this country

I don't think it a viable strategy to teach young children about hyper-inflation.

Better yet, print £50 notes.

A mixture

The first was:

"We need a new broom- its disgusting"
"Why don't you buy one?"
"Your the god damn parent!"

"Well, OFCOM said it's not to be taken seriously, plus its just funny crap"
"No. Most Haunted is real"
"I give up"

"It's only 930pm I've been at work all day"
"No. It's too late to put the oven on"
"Why the hell do I pay nearly £300 to live in my bedroom
if I can't use the bloody oven?"

"It'll suit you fine, you'll look lovely."

*sigh*

It didn't suit me, and I didn't look lovely. And I am still bitter. Damn hair stylist.
