I didn't get that Tom had told Logan straight away... Possibly too subtle for me, or was his conversation with Greg highlighting what he had done? Also I didn't know that a 4th season had been announced, so I thought that was the final episode and was unsure if it was a great place to finish it or if there were too many questions left to answer. Very glad to hear that there a 4th season coming, but I hope they can keep up the high standards!

Yeah "making a deal with the devil". And the whole Nero conversation earlier in the season about murdering his wife and marrying his castrated slave boy,

Just finished S3 and agree with others who thought that it was a little more uneven in terms of quality when compared to the first two seasons. Still magnificent overall, though. Was shocked -and absolutely delighted- to hear Spacemen 3 being played at Kendall's 40th birthday party. Can't imagine that was on the approved playlist.

I'm not reading this thread because I'm only on S2 Ep4 but this show is so, so good.

I'm not sure why the formula works so well. Everyone is kind of terrible but still relatable on some level? I can't stop watching though.

Just gets better and better. Quality is on par with The Sopranos imo.

Interesting interview with the creator Jesse Armstrong about this being the final season here - https://www.newyorker.com/culture/the-new-yorker-interview/the-end-of-succession-is-near

Ending on a high and not dragging it out is fine by me.

It's well poised for them to really nail S4 and conclude it. Can't wait.

This is clearly a fantastic show, but I've not quite got the "best show ever" hype around it. Top tier, but not literally top of the tier.

But I just watched the latest episode (episode 3) and that was an incredible hour of TV. Astoundingly good.

It can all be rather dry and there have been moments where the general shtick has started to get a little tiresome. The performances are all top-tier though and it oozes quality. Not one of my very favourite shows but I can see why it's rated so highly.

I think the reason it gets labelled as the best show ever is because its literally better than every other show ever made

Obviously it's personal preference, but no. Just no.

But the latest episode is up there.

I can't decide whose acting was the most impressive in episode 3. Maybe Roman?

What a great showcase for all of them.

Roman first, Shiv second.

Brilliant episode.
