Anybody watching this?

I got into it a couple of years ago and really enjoyed it. Since waiting for S3 I've watched the first 2 seasons again twice and my appreciation for it has grown enormously.

Basically it follows a Rupert Murdoch style figure and his family News, Entertainment and Tourism business.

For my money it's comfortably the best show on TV at the moment and I struggle to think of anything on par with it in the last decade. The drama is true to life and has a lot to say about politics in the last decade. It comes with a great message about corporate greed and abuses. What really sings though is the ensemble cast, the positioning for advantage between all the characters and mainly is that it's strawberry floating hilarious.

S3 started this week. Get on it.

Love this show and I have yet to meet anyone who watches it. Not had chance to watch the new episode yet.

I think they should skip Charles and William, and go straight to George. It's been a while since we had a child as head of state, time to mix it up a bit.

I'd been meaning to watch this for awhile and with the new season starting it seemed like a good time, I'm up to episode 7 of the second season.

I enjoyed the first couple of episodes but didn't think it warranted all of the hype and praise I'd been seeing, however it really seemed to hit a head of steam and has just got better and better, the second season has been consistently excellent so far. I'm particularly enjoying Jeremy Strong's performance as Kendall.

Awesome news, started S3 yesterday. Cracking as ever though I’m a bit iffy on how Roman reacted to events.

Just finished ep 2, it's some serious strawberry floating television this.

It's still as funny as ever but I have some reservations about how it's going plot wise. It feels like they backed themselves into a corner last series. Albeit brilliantly and compellingly. The broken Kendall and 'actually the good guy' Roman were two of my favourite things from S2 but now they feel shifted a bit

I loved everything with the kids this episode though. Especially Connor coming in.

I watched the first season about a year ago and really enjoyed it. Always meant to watch the second season but didn't though my wife has now taken an interest, so I'm now rewatching S1 with her.

Holy strawberry floating gooseberry fool. Episode 3 was like a strawberry floating rollercoaster and that last 10 minutes just escalated in brilliance.

The FBI showing up with Jerry's 'we're strawberry floated' speech.
Roman finally showing up and telling Shiv to go strawberry float herself and the story being about Connor.
The utter awfulness of the ATN advertisers event and Toms speech 'logo burned in our viewers screens'
And then Kendall finally disintegrating at last.

What did everyone think of the latest birthday party episode?

I thought it was brilliant, hilarious, pathetic and heartbreaking in equal measure. I thought episode three would be Jeremy Strong's Emmy nomination but this one is probably it.

I've seen a lot of people saying they haven't enjoyed this season and that it seems like it's spinning the wheels but I couldn't disagree more, I've enjoyed every episode.

This is exactly how I feel about season 3. There are great individual episodes and moments but in terms of narrative and character development, thus far it has felt like a conscious effort to undo any dramatic tension created by a S2 finale that necessitated a huge shift to the status quo. It’s still great but now is starting to remind me of how House of Cards went off the rails - no matter what was thrown at him, Frank always won. Even it there is some explosive ending this season that appears to harm Logan’s standing, I’m not sure I can now trust the show to follow it through.

I've seen a huge marketing push for this over the past month, on TV, in Cinemas, posters..etc might give it a watch

Watched the finale last night. A really good conclusion but I've found it a bit of an up and down season. Some of the shows best episodes but others which just felt like filler.

There's been some real shifts in character potrails over the course of the season, only a few have remained consistent with their previous series personas. Connor has had a real glow up and become a great character, while he was largely anonymous before. It's a bit diminishing returns with Greg and playing him as the comic relief didn't really work a lot of the time. It was great to see Toms resolution too.

Obviously I'll be there day 1 for season 4, interested to see what direction they take it in as that had something of a show finale about it.

Been watching this from the start so have been avoiding this thread. Finished yesterday and it's one of the best shows I've watched in a while, my favourite character/one I felt most sorry for (if you can feel sorry for the multi billionaires) changed form episode to episode.

I didn't get that Tom had told Logan straight away... Possibly too subtle for me, or was his conversation with Greg highlighting what he had done? Also I didn't know that a 4th season had been announced, so I thought that was the final episode and was unsure if it was a great place to finish it or if there were too many questions left to answer. Very glad to hear that there a 4th season coming, but I hope they can keep up the high standards!
