What is Games Done Quick?

Games Done Quick is a bi-annual charity gaming marathon. Volunteers play games at incredible speed ("Speedrunning") for entertainment. The event is streamed live online, non-stop, and all donations go directly to Doctors Without Borders (MSF for us Europeans). This is the summer event, with a winter event starting in January.

Sonic Boom is much more interesting when you're just watching someone break it.

I imagine it's pretty difficult to watch someone play Sonic Boom without breaking it...

The stuff at the end was interesting, I love seeing the artefacts that devs simply don't bother taking out of the game.

Resi 3, Resi 4 and Silent Hill 2 in one 4 hour block later. Will be watching that for sure.

Resi 3 about to begin. I love Resident Evil game speed runs, though I wish it was 2 not 3.

It was actually a really great run and the guy doing it was highly entertaining. I followed his twitch channel immediately afterwards.

That Bamboo guy in the vid above had his Twitch channel banned not long after that run. What a nut case :lol:

Possible world record on Toejam and Earl there

Loving the Super Metroid music being played between SMB and Octodad.

That game has a phenomenal soundtrack. So subtle but so effective. :datass:
