Went to bed during the tetris block, when I walked back in the room and saw the camera on the audience I thought it was over. Nope they still had TGM3 to play.

Really wanted to watch Tetris but had to go to bed, hopefully it'll be up on YT soon.

Anyone watching this Metroid Prime 2 run right now? It's basically an exercise in how to break a game. :lol:

They've spent about 90% of the time out of bounds outside the map.

Am I the only person who didn't even know there was a Megaman X8?

A guy just passed the original Legend of Zelda in 3 minutes. :lol:

They just passed $1m during Mario 64 with 2 more games to go before it's all over. :wub:

Someone donated $12k to push them over :lol:

Donations have been crazy since then with lots of $1k donations coming in.

I hope they kill the strawberry floating animals in Super Metroid later. strawberry float those banana splits.

Mario 64 is amazing to watch speedruns of. Mario's hugely diverse movelist allows for some crazy gooseberry fool and in the hands of guys like these he's like a strawberry floating ninja. I hate how dumbed down his moves have become in every game since.

Kinda disappointing Super Metroid race. One guy died 13 minutes in and another at the final boss. This guy Zoasty just destroyed the rest of them. Finished 2 and a half minutes ahead of the other guy that survived to the end. He's too damn good.

One of the super metroid runners was on world record pace when save the animals and a failed metroid skip killed the run.

He holds the world record for a reason, there is only one person in the world close to him, so close that Zoast only holds world record by a second.

A gaffer said that this live run was the 7th fastest and that was with the diversion at the end to save the animals. Would have been about 15 seconds faster otherwise.

5 hours of Chrono Trigger up last. :dread:

Yea, that game is totally and utterly broken. They would have skipped losing the items too. 8-)

Did anyone see that showcase for coop Ikaruga? I just cannot comprehend how much time they must have spent on that game to perfect it like they did.

Really appreciate the design of the game more so now as well. Making a puzzle shoot em that works like Ikaruga, I mean wow.

Ikaruga is one of the finest games in existence. I actually can't get over how perfect it is.

I didn't realise the GDQ was on now, just watched a Majoras Mask run.

Looks like they are doing a thing for twitch con.
