I didn't catch it during SGDQ but I'm currently slowly making my way through the Youtube upload and it certainly is very interesting. It's also a surprisingly tight speedrun given... well, a lot of different factors. It's long, there's random encounters, randomness within encounters, no time to grind for exp or gil.
The commentary is amazing, and they don't just cover the speedrun techniques but the story as well.

Yeah the individual runs are all up on their YouTube channel. The Breath of the Wild one was ace.

Games Done Quick is hosting a hastily put together weekend charity stream for Houston Food Bank and made $10,000 in 22 minutes or so, some decent speed runs to come over the weekend.

Yeah I've seen that happen a few times before. They only do it when a run is in danger of being abandoned so I don't have any problem with it.

Obviously if it was a "serious" run that wouldn't be accepted, but for the sake of a charity, entertainment showcase I don't see any issue with them doing that just to get past a bit that was screwing them over.

It was an fun run though. Glitch runs always run the risk of being really dull, but the couch and runner were fairly amusing and kept it entertaining enough. I think if it had been much longer it would have been a bit much though.

One thing I noticed when the Infamous run finished was that I got an advert popping up (Was watching on my Xbox) over the stream. Almost as if it was waiting for the end of the run. Is this a new thing? I know they've locked the public chat behind a sub-paywall to help keep out the trolls and edgelords (Well, some of them anyway) and I wondered if this was something similar.

I forgot how much of a cesspit the chat was till I read some of the comments while the infamous play through was happening.
