Sunset Overdrive (XB1/PC) - Out now for PC!! (p28)

So its Dead Rising meets inFamous with some Crackdown...but drawn in primary colours.

I mean it does seem to have much of the same hook as Dead Rising 3 did, but seeing as I loved DR3 I can't really complain about that.

This looks really good. It has that arcade, survival, fuck-about vibe to it. Just pure fun.

It looks like what would happen if Ratchet & Clank was an open world Tony Hawk game.

I'm liking it a lot!

The movement doesn't seem to have any depth to it and for a game about velocity it doesn't look like you can gain much speed.

Just looks so new and fresh, totally blown away by the look of this and the fact that various previews reckon they've nailed the controls.

This looks great, first Xbox One game that I'm gutted I can't play on PS4. The cgi trailer did nothing for me at E3 but having now seen it in action I like everything about it, particularly just how nuts it is. Already looks a lot more fun than Infamous Second Son is.

It's not, they partnered with EA to make the somewhat unremarkable Fuse about 2/3 years ago.
I'm loving the vibrancy but it's awfully similar to inFamous.

Didn't like Infamous, but I did enjoy prototype which is weird.

Reminds me lots of jet set radio, the way he moves around.

Going by the gameplay trailer it has many elements which bring other games to mind. That isn't a bad thing but I hope they have ideas of their own too. Not to say it'll be a bad game if it doesn't.
Hopefully creating a game that is true to who they are means we end up with something far superior to the :snore: Resistance series.

Did anyone else think it looked a little slow paced?
