I think they made that change in the DS remake.

Physical has to be a bit of a no brainer if you can get it. If this genuinely is a limited release, it could be worth a lot in a few years. If it isn't a limited release, you still have trade in or resale value.

If it wasn't limited release, I'd have gone digital, but I'm a sucker for Ltd edition physical things!

Seriously I worry how many copies some people will have bought to sell for a profit, another reason why I’m happy to wait till nearer Christmas to grab a copy, worst comes to the worst I’ll just grab a digital copy next March if I really can’t find a physical copy.

I was hoping the Game collection would have this up to order, but they don't seem to have it yet. Might just plump for Amazon.

I genuinely don't think this is going to be worth much in the long run. It's limited time not limited numbers, there will be millions of these out there so it's never going to be a rare collectable

Hmm, it's a good point, will be interesting to see the physical to digital ratio. Having said that, even if the physical copy is worth a ton in a few years, I won't be selling it as I tend to keep the AAA Nintendo games in my collection.

You never know with Nintendo, as much as I love them they do some odd things sometimes. I think you’ll be right though, no one should struggle getting a physical copy up until the cutoff date.

It seems to be based on the updated Japanese release which added rumble, fixed some bugs (including backwards long jump), and I believe it changed the voice clip when you throw Bowser to "Buh-bye".

It's three great games. The PS5 currently has none that we know of. I'd say your excitement is about spot-on.

shall be diving right into sunshine when this comes, my favourite 3d Mario game still. then lots of play time with 64. will get round to galaxy eventually probably.
