I could see them selling the Mario games individually, digitally for £20-£30 each.

It's definitely this.

Reminds me that I still need to finish Galaxy. PS5 has completely distracted me from my Switch for months now :(

Super Mario Bros fans are panicking over rumors that Mario is going to die

https://edition.cnn.com/2021/03/31/tech ... index.html

Their proof seems to be a couple of what I assume are jokey tweets.

Mario will die so that Link can live

I fired this up again yesterday, it plays a lot better on the TV with a pro controller than in handheld mode I think.

Well, it’s gone, checked the eshop and they have indeed taken it down.

Be interesting to see sales of it the last couple of days. Bet you had a lot of last minute buys

Going to give the sand bird level another go, if I still can’t do it I’m just moving onto Galaxy for the time being

It's pretty easy, just walk slowly around it when it turns. For the blue coins, just go for them and die after they've saved rather than trying to use actual skill to get them.

Not even going for the blue coins  currently on 6 an waiting on a cloud :fp: am I right in thinking it only turns the once?

I also have next to no skill in Sunshine  I just can’t get on with Mario’s skittish controls/move set.

If there was a Mario game where Mario officially dies at the end doing some heroic act, how would you feel?

Good. Would let Luigi take centre stage, and not before time.

Y’see, that sort of libel won’t be tolerated in the new Era of Luigi.

Pfft. Luigi taking over if Mario snuffs it before time. Waluigi will steal the throne the second Mario's out of the picture, and Luigi will be powerless to stop him.
