Are there long purple piranha plants? Sounds like piranha creeper creek in which case yes you need to light all the torches

If it’s the night time variation then you need to do it in each area

The very one, and it's the night time variation. The mid section was killing me over and over.

i know its brutal, the first and last areas are so simple in comparison

I vaguely remember this one giving me a lot of trouble on the Wii U version. A few of the attempts, I made it to the end of it, but missed a torch cause it was so dark, then died back tracking.

huge pain, but keep at it and youll be fine. swearing but fine

I did it with Peach on the first attempt of today

Making my way to unlocking the last world. I got all the green stars and stamps. Now need the flagpoles.

Edit - Yeahhhhhh I'm done. The last world in this is balls hard.

May I ask why do I have one red Mario flag in one of the levels but the rest of them are gold? Am I missing something out?

You get the golden flag when you hit the top of the goalpost at the end of each level, if you hit the goal anywhere else it’s the normal coloured characters flag.

As a tip, if you're going for gold flags (and you need them all to unlock the final world) finishing the level with a cat suit makes it easy as they run up to the top of the pole wherever you hit it.

Nope that’s where I called it a day on the Wii U version! When I get there on this version I’m going to try it with Rosalina as opposed to Luigi as I think she’s meant to make it a little easier?
