Hello yes this. As things stand I probably won’t be getting BF because I doubt it’s going to be £40 worth of game on its own.

Yeah that's where I'm at with it :(

No chance of the game dropping significantly in price either. It's a very Nintendo situation

I’m very bad at selling stuff I like(d). In practice it would probably sit on my shelf gathering dust.

Fair enough. I can be the same.

One option is Boomerang do a subscription for £4 a month where you can rent one game. New releases do take 6-12 months to go onto the lower price sub range but that's potentially a good option for anyone who doesn't wanna buy full price for a port but wants to try the new content.

I did my usual thing of getting hyped up after seeing that trailer yesterday but I've now cooled my thinking. I don't think that I'll be buying this myself; I'll stick with the U version.

I'm definitely on board with this one, but I can see how U owners might find it hard to decide if the additional content is worth the full asking price. It will be interesting to here if they have done much else to the base game which might tempt U owners to double dip.

(looks at SM3DAS) Nah.

I really miss the days of Nintendo being generous with their re-releases.

The original All-Stars: "Hey here are four of our all time best games from the last 5-8 years, all for the for the price of one! Plus we've updated the sound and graphics for all of them! You're welcome!"

3D All-Stars: "Here's three fantastic games, the oldest of which is nearly 25 years old and the youngest is still from over a decade a go, we haven't really improved them in any way and you can only buy them for a time limited period. Now give us all your strawberry floating money!"

I remember getting the release of SMB1 on Game Boy Color back in the day and being blown away by all the extras they put in there - an overworld map, multiplayer modes, a challenge mode to find hidden coins and beat times, plus they shoved the whole of the Japanese SMB2 in there as an unlockable bonus.

Better times.

We know you dont appreciate the apparent lack of update in our U ports, so we've updated Mario 3D world to have a whole new section!

It's one of the few games I am going to double dip with(?) on(?) I loved 3D World, I want to Bowser's Fury and I want to play 3D World online with TWA.

Is this one going to be on sale forever or is it another timed sale bullshit like with the Mario trilogy?

I don't believe there are any restrictions around this one, Zilnad. We can take our time and wait for reviews if so desired :toot: .

From the official site for this:

Mario is sent to Lake Lapcat, where everything is cat-themed—and Bowser has gone berserk! Team up with Bowser Jr. to help his dad chill out in this short but action-packed standalone adventure

3-4 hours I reckon.

Excellent :toot:

I'll definitely get it at some point, just not release. So it's good to know there's no rush.
