I'm taking time away from my honeymoon to straight up say that's bullshit.

SMW is ugly.....

That's the hottest take since alttp is offensive on the eyes.

@OR I literally don't understand how you can play all those post-ironic sprite art indie games made by first-year art school students in MS Paint and be fine with it, but SMW somehow annoys you

ALLTP is still fine though so it's not on the level of SMW or anything, don't worry.

Zelda II's art does a really good job of informing the player immediately how frustratingly punishing and dated the whole experience is going to be. Meanwhile Link in ALTTP has pink hair.

(Link's Awakening is indisputably the best, followed by Minish Cap. The Oracles do a reasonable job of emulating and evolving LA's art style, but they are demonstrably worse in that evolution.)

I'd they're the ones I'm thinking of, I abandoned them pretty quickly as I found them too hard.

Got through a few more of the Grcade levels today.

I liked Gooseberry ghost house 1 a lot :)

I've got a new one to try. It has an easy way and a not so easy way. Have fun I guess...

Finally played a few levels of this last night.

Just went through some of the most popular courses, found a couple of creators that I liked, then did a super expert run and got a world record 8-) . Favourite level so far was the popular 'going to work' level, and also liked the Sunshine level he made (music was from Sunshine, too). Really made me want to go back to Sunshine while it's summer.

Haven't really touched the story mode yet, and haven't made anything, but will have a look through the grcade levels this week.

If yall got time, I highly recommend giving this a watch or comb through (time stamps are included) for tips and general insight into level making. Barb is well known for his Mario mods that use some crazy level design.
