Did anyone else watch the Mario Maker 2 Invitational last night? It starts at about 31:00 in the above video. There was some amazing creativity on display! The co-op puzzle level was a real highlight, although they're all great. I've already got lots of really cool ideas for that format of team-based puzzles.

I was watching it all as it happened. All three of them were great fun to watch, with some real intense matches in Splatoon and Smash.

There's definitely a lot of creativity on display with those courses, and it shows just how much can be done with the tools.

Confirmed on tree house they are going to fix online play with friends.

Good. It was the big thing they got wrong so it's nice they're going to sort it quickly.

Yeah that was great.

The tree house segment was really good. Some of those story mode levels look pretty good and the things makers will be able to do with this toolset is going to be staggering.

Yes, but they tweeted as soon as the Treehouse segment ended, with a photo from it, which I would assume means he confirmed it on the stream, but all I could find was him saying that one vague line.

I'm hoping there's no hidden catch and he just decided to word it so ambiguously, I guess, for fun? I've been burned once already, so you'll have to forgive me for having reservations.
