So much to take in from that trailer. Really glad they didn't take the easy route with a simple port. About to lose so many more hours to this.

We all are. So glad its in June so we've only a few months to wait. I'm assuming it'll be after E3, rather than before it though.

well im bound to get this i just hope the stages are a little more merciful

I'm going to make the best level. It's going to be called slide. It's going to start with Mario on a block and then you go on your butt down a slope for 10 minutes and boom end. Best level ever

As I said in the direct thread, they seem to have gone well above and beyond with this. Might start drafting up some ideas in the months leading up to release also, as there's a ton of potential here.

I've went through the trailer and noted in the OP all the changes/additions I can see.

I do have some questions though.

Notably, the trailer has NO NEW Super Mario Bros in it. All the "NEW" footage actually appears to be the Mario 3D World games style.
I'll be annoyed if NSMB has been taken out. As much as it's aesthetic and music choices weren't to everyones taste it had by far the most complete moveset out of the four in the original.

As with the Wii U version, I'll be downloading this rather than using physical media. It's gonna get a lot of use!

As much as I loved the first one, it always felt a bit held back. Maker 2 is shaping up to solve a lot of it's problems. Such a perfect summer game too.

I think if the removed NSMB as a skin then the moveset will be for 3D World's Skin.
