Hoping for more game styles (I think there's probably at least one still to show) and details on the multiplayer modes an online functionality.

Can't wait.

Great stuff! Really looking forward to seeing more of it; hopefully we'll get more info about the creative controls.

It feels like AYAMMM? isn't far away :-) .

Anyway....

Things I want:

- How discovery and sharing works
- Confirmation that existing levels are compatible and will carry over
- Mystery Mushroom costumes?
- Multi-maker/player details
- World Map maker?
- Additional Styles (Mario Land 2?)

Never thought about this aspect, this would be a great inclusion.

It's been heavily requested by the fan base and Nintendo have demonstrated greater awareness of what people want recently. So it wouldn't surprise me.

To be honest I'd be happy with some pre-made ones, it's mostly so we can have a way of packaging a "World's" worth of levels together.

I'd certainly love to have a way to package levels together in a world. I'll be looking forward to this.

Although, does this discount it appearing in the E3 Direct? Or is there even more to come?

Wonder what they'd show in the direct? Like some stuff you'd want as a surprise. Maybe a campaign like the LBP games?

They won't give it a lot of time in the trailer. Maybe a reference to it and its' release date.

Except plenty of hands on with it in Treehouse though.

Presumably one of the reasons why they might shy away from a World Map creator is that it would basically open the doors for people to recreate entire games like Super Mario World and therefore cut into Ninty's ability to sell it to us all again for top dollar!

Not just a great inclusion, but I think it would be one of the best features they could add. Especially if they make it so you can download the world maps as packs from the creators.

I did this for Portal 2 on steam, some users made levels that formed a cohesive narrative and it was great fun.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

I'd love that. I think I said with the first game that I'd like a campaign that has unfinished parts where you have to enter create in real time and fix the path to progress the way you'd like. Think scribblenauts but with platforming.

I think this is going to sell really well on Switch. It got around 4m on a dying Wii U platform from memory, I think it could hit 10m+ on Switch.

Really looking forward to Mario Maker on Switch, the original was a fantastic game. More info would be great.

World map maker along with the ability to add boss levels is my main want.

I hardly put any time into the original but I plan to give this a proper go this time round.

I'm wondering what is going to happen to the older Mario Maker courses. I hope they make the transition to the servers for this.

I think I'll be surprised if the Wii U courses are transferred over; I suspect that this'll be a fresh start and I guess that the available functions will be changed and expanded in the newer game.
