I had a really cool idea for a level but I can't get it to work. Idea would be that it's a Mario party style mini game where you wait at the bottom while bobombs parachute in from above allowing you to slowly dig towards your exit door but I can't figure out how to get the bombs to appear at a height decent enough so it doesnt overwhelm you and gives you time to react

No matter what I try they just seem to despawn and off screen pipes and launchers won't allow spawn stuff :(

Have you played my bob-omb survival level? I tried out lots of stuff and lakitus were the only way I got it working decently.

One more level from me. This time it's an SMB1 level in the snow theme all about timed switch blocks.

Don't plant your feet or take a seat, move to the beat!

The clear percentage at the moment is a welcoming 17.39%, so it's significantly easier than my previous two.

Finally done with my first level. Was trying too hard with the concept at first so I really had to redo the second half.

After numerous overhauls of ideas and going back to the drawing board way too many times, my third course has arrived:

GLY-N38-FKG

It's called Maker's Retreat: Ice Cube Smash and despite the troubles Iv'e had settling on ideas, the level itself ended up rather basic in terms of interactivity.

But still, I hope people enjoy what's unique about it and dig the aesthetics.

Boyfriend got me the game two days ago and I'll been enjoying it a loads! Not tried any of your levels, will have to add bunch of you to my favourites so I can take my time going through levels you guys made.

I've not made one level yet -- I could always port over SMM1 levels with some tweaks, but I want to at least make brand new level first. I've done the castle part of story mode, but still have about 42 missions to do...some of them look difficult :dread:

It's really interesting seeing how people actually play the levels, I wish we could record more than 30 seconds natively on the Switch so I could do the same for other's levels here. Which has got me thinking, maybe a few of us could try to make levels that are over in 30 seconds? Might be a fun challenge and then it's super easy to record ourselves beating them?

I still got no idea for new level, welp. Then again I don't want to half-arse it so might be good thing that I haven't started it yet.

Although I can always make personal level (i.e. not upload it) and add to it as I go through it, maybe.

I've barely played this in weeks. It's just not grabbed me in the same way as the first game, which I'm both surprised and annoyed about.

Gonna try and get some time in over the next week or so and see if I can re-ignite the spark.

I've been enjoying this as a "companion" game to my main gaming experiences at the moment. It's great to dive in and tinker about with a level or play a few of other peoples' creations whilst taking a break from something heavier.

Really need to finish off some of the levels that I've half started now though! :slol:
