Made another level, this time with Forest (Night)/SMW setting.

Regol Marsh: 44W-TV9-HGG

Has quite good amount of secrets that may take few attempts to achieve (or I'm just gooseberry fool :shifty: )

Gonna take break from making/remaking stages; planning to play FE3H tomorrow after some errands.

I've finally joined in the fun of this, played around with the level maker, uploaded something and the only comment is:

"not your best work"

Such insight

But if that's your first level, what is your best work...?

Didn't they talk about adding the option to play with friends online? Hope we don't have to wait too long.

So I uploaded two levels yesterday - one is somewhat of a remake of world 1-3 but with a sinister underbelly, and the other a brief outing with the cape.

SMB Warped (1-3)

2XX-K1M-VKF

Caped Crusade

L2Y-XB7-CRF

I also have an idea for multiplayer versus now the update is out, though I'm finding myself easily burnt out on this game after about 2 consecutive sessions. Hope I'm not the only one who feels that way.

This update is the perfect example of why I hate post-release content drops. I've already played the game for 50+ hours, got lots out of it and moved on. If online co-op had been supported from launch I would have played it and appreciated it, but now I've moved on and it's not going to entice me back to the game.

Not in the year a Link's Awakening remake came out my friend

(I never even attempted the last Hollow Knight content drop, despite rating that game so highly. Celeste is the exception that proves the rule!)

Haha, of course LA trumps all comers :datass:

I do agree that this should have been there at release, but for me Mario Maker isn't really the kind of game that I "move on" from. It's more one of those that you keep dipping into over a long period and this update is a nice thing to make it more interesting next time I dip back in!

I'm wondering if I made a mistake buying this on Switch. I played it for a bit at launch - making three or four levels, I think - but I have no desire to play it any more. Course building is tremendous fun - and more power to you if you're enjoying it! - but I think I burnt myself out through spending so much time on the U version. Can't sell it on, either, 'cos I went digital :fp: .

I’m hoping that Master Mario Maker will drag me back in. (If Devlin is kind enough to run it) I did pretty much 500 courses without skipping and then found two that I couldn’t beat and then walked away.

I need to get myself in the headspace that I’m never going to beat every course I play.

You're a madman, I skipped way more than I finished - most just aren't good enough to be worth replaying once you die a single time!

Have you played the single player campaign? It's a really nice 10-15 hour 2D Mario experience. Lots of variety thanks to the different game styles too.
