Managed to get a few more hours into this over the week so far, just got the 5th star at just over 8 hours, the pacing on this is great, as is the writing, the music, its just a very good remake of a very good game.

No Paper Mario TTYD beater though, although I'd have been shocked if it was.

Sorry for the double post, but where on earth do the paratroopers appear in Land’s End to help you scale the cliff? Looked around what I thought was everywhere but can’t see them at all?

Picked up an interesting little side quest as well, got to find 3 invisible flags, not sure if the reward is worth it though.

Edit, no bother, I’d missed an exit in the desert :fp:

Triple post but I'm done with this now, a great little game!

Definitely on the easier side of the Mario RPG games, but still a load of fun, other than very early in the game (when I wasn't concentrating) I didn't have a game over, the last boss was a little annoying, lots of high powered moves that you can't block but still nothing overly tricky.

Really should probably get Paper Mario played before TTYD comes out later in the year :shifty:

Finished this up tonight. Even did all the new post-game bosses, and hit max level. Had a properly good time with it. It's definitely a bit simple in the story telling department, but I liked the battle system and the general vibe a lot.

I never played it when it finally got added to virtual console stuff, so it's nice to finally tick it off my list after all these years!
