I’ve just done that section of the map you’re describing and I thought the design was great but found it really frustrating that you can’t zoom out in “dungeons”. I wanted to take it all in as one. Bit of an odd decision.

I found that section really dull. You’re in for a treat with the other two though!

Great, planning to work through some of that tonight :D

One other thing on the map, and I’ll spoiler just incase

The Street Fighter and DK bits were wonderful. Why didn’t they do more of that? For example, on the first map, the space bit where you fly the Great Fox-why didn’t they use a map of the Lylat System?!

Guess which spirit I've just ran into. Set on a pile of girders with a funny pink princess who thinks it's a laugh to run away whenever you try to approach.

I thought exactly that when I was doing it, too  Wanted to zoom out to see if the path I was about to go down connected to one of the earlier paths but I couldn't.

Stopped playing when I got to the Chrom's Sister question, but I know the answer now!

I got so lucky with that spirit. On my third attempt smashed her with an item in last seconds and she flew off at an angle.

It doesn't help when that time slow item gets used, allowing for DK to pummel you before you get a change to do anything about it. That happened within a few seconds of DK's appearance during one match.

I just battered my way through all the Spirits each time. Especially that one. Never played the relevant games, never will...

If you've got the Cupid spirit there's an easy way to beat her. It's a cheap win but it's a cheap fight :shifty:

Next time I'm on I'll take a look to see if I have. Thanks for the tip.

Finished the quiz dungeon and noticed I didn't have the star icon on the map, so went back in to double-check everything and discovered Wolf the character and Krystal the spirit.

Any tips for the spirit fight? :shifty: They're too fast so I just get crippled at the start then I can't claw anything back. Was going to give it another go later with the Franklin Badge which should help me a fair bit with their crappy little lasers

The quiz dungeon is my favourite sub-world for it's presentation alone. I love the way it feels like there's this cataclysmic event that's been frozen in time - it's still yet vigorous and dynamic and the music compliments the scene really well.

Currently making my way through the Castlevania themed section. Look like a fair old stretch having scoped it out a little.

Its the shortest of the three by a long chalk I think.

Which is a shame. I think it’s arguably the most fun.

I enjoyed the Zelda themed one most of the three. The weird frozen moment disaster one was fun but got a little tedious trying to make sure I’d done everything on it and not missed anything.

I'm on the Zelda one now. It's great  Not looking forward to the boss, though. I'm awful against him in Classic Mode :shifty:

It really helps when you don’t have a timer and do have a bunch of OP spirits backing you up.

I missed a fighter in the frozen moment. And it was long and its gimmick was rubbish.

You're not wrong! Just smashed it. Are you meant to be able to roll through his legs like in the game, though? I always have to resort to triple jumping over his head...
