There are, I think, 615 spaces overall. I do agree that not having a list of spirits that you've encountered but not won is a bit irritating - I was searching for the last two for strawberry floating ages before I realised it was the light and dark monsters separately on the final map.

Was great fun playing, mate. Definitely need to brush up on my DI and get out of some of my old Smash 4 habits!

Re: World of Light

Does anybody bother with dojo’s or levelling up their spirits outside of battle? I just pick a battle and flick through team setups using auto fill til I find one that looks alright and dive in. A handful of more difficult ones I’ve had to look up specific setups but that’s it. I’ve completed about 350-400 of the spaces so not sure if it’s going to get harder and I’ll need to pay more attention soon?

I did, mostly the ones that evolve though. Shoved them in the dojos/fed them snacks until they reached 99, then used them for fights.

In general, though, it’s probably not necessary. Might be helpful for tackling some Legends.

Yes, them. They don’t actually evolve, as seen by the few Pokémon ones who are enhanceable.

I’m still bitter about Absol being novice level.

I also leveled the spirits to enhance them.

Just beat Gary or whatever the big silly wing thing is called. Anyone got any recommendations for a character/spirit loadout for the Geno fight? Got SO CLOSE earlier but it timed out :x Or do I just leave it and come back later?

I think I’d beaten Geno by your stage. Use a fat person (I liked DK and Bowser) and thump them hard.

Sorry, probably not the advice you wanted...

Iv'e been sending the odd handful of spirits to the Gym throughout (mostly enhanceable) and also Explore. As for the Dojos, I use some but not all. It at least makes sense to double down on a spirit's existing strengths, but it's not really necessary - especially when I'm not encountering many roadblocks atm, even post-Galeem.

Y'know, for all the whinging I'm doing about World of Light it's proper one-more-match moreish when you get into a groove. Liking the dungeon when you go up on the second map. The questions are fun so far :shifty: "which of these is a Nopon?"

Is there a way of viewing the stats of a particular spirit on the spirit list, too? Was trying to see what perks they give me without having to try and put a team together. The screen looks so empty just showing you the artwork!
