If you're why do people want 2 of the most popular characters in gaming in Smash it's because they are 2 of the most popular characters in gaming.

Master Chief in Smash would be amazing to see, even if his moveset probably wouldn't be the most interesting in the world.

How? He had a bunch of different kill animations and a chainsaw, how exactly would those make an interesting character in smash?

This has been argued about half the characters who are now in smash

I’ll be honest - apart from the third party thing, I’m also disappointed that every bugger they’ve introduced through the season pass has been a human biped (apart from the humanoid bear biped). Piranha Plant is the best DLC character in ultimate.

Even then the idea that a character with a huge arsenal of guns couldn't have an interesting gun heavy moveset is crazy. His shotgun won't act like his flamethrower which won't act like his BFG, etc.

Also Mii Gunner exists.

Pretty cool character choice even if he's just another sword fighter, here's hoping we actually get a decent amount of FF music included.

I bet the next character will be a Hunter from Monster Hunter.

If there was any character that had to take Sora's spot, I'm glad it's Sephiroth. Good god, I can't get over how good his reveal trailer is. Never in a million years would I have thought smash would go full on Advent Children. I really hope they make him nasty as heck.

how has he taken sora's spot? for one thing their owned by two different companies so its unlikely it was one or the other

He's owned by Disney but still created by SE. I don't think you can have one without the other. I'm not saying he's completely ruled out, but mostly if there was a character that I'd take over him it would be Sephiroth. Sora has been my most wanted character in Smash ever since the days leading up to Brawl. But that doesn't mean I'm not gonna be realistic about his chances lol.

2B would be awesome, but having Sephiroth looks like i;ll becoming back to smash and purchasing dlc
