I do appreciate that. Or rather, less all the references to games I’ve not or barely played, and more that I’ve got some friends who are wrestling fans who will love (I presume) playing as a heel.

Incinesnore may not have the greatest design, but I respect what it represents as a character. I also respect that they could have chosen Machamp for the wrestler Pokémon, and didn’t.

I would have preferred to see Decidueye included over Incineroar, although I could see him announced as a DLC character instead. It's possible they may put in a Gen 8 Pokemon given that the last of the DLC is scheduled to be released in 2020.

It wouldn't surprise me if either Phoenix Wright or Professor Layton are announced as DLC characters too.

The last one is so hard. I actually am now starting to think that Goemon is a really possibility. If its not then it could be a Rayman/Crash type.

I dont think were getting anyone who is already an assist trophy/has a sticker in the game seeing as they had already decided the roster (so no backtracking on Waluigi)

I think these are characters we have seen no real content from their 'worlds' so therefore the music being in their backs is a real bonus.

I'm very excited by the idea we could have DLC coming for two or three years after this.

The last one could be Sakurai himself.

That would be a nice touch; the guy seems to be extraordinarily dedicated and passionate about development. I guess it could come as being a tad egotistical... but I suspect that most fans would like it.

My DLC predictions:

Elma (no X representation in there at the moment-XC2 got a costume and music)
Geno (I think he'd be an assist if he wasn't coming)
Fire Emblem Three Houses character (it's inevitable, lets not fight it)
Monster Hunter (already have the boss and that stage level)
Banjo-Kazooie (think this will happen based on Phil Spencer and the amount of fan requests they'd have had)

Also think we'll get a Minecraft stage in there.

To be fair to me, everyone was saying it was Decidueye was in - but I always felt Incineroar was more likely.

Guess the Grinch didn't ruin Smash in a way, as people had too many lofty expectation for the roster.
70+ characters in a fighting game is unbelievable and very generous especially considering many fighters these days barely have 20, yes these pre-order dlc in the Plant but it's done right, as everyone gets a chance to get him.

Little bit peeved that the trophies are gone as I love reading the trivia about them, also is there a an arcade mode in the game anymore?

Seeing full 3D model of various characters, most of which were never in such high poly or were even 2D, is really cool. You could rotate them and see all the neat detail.

After piranha plant I'm not even gonna attempt to guess what will be coming next. I think Sakurai is going to continue to blow our minds with what he's capable of.

My genuine hope is that as Dracula was not a playable character the Count will be in the game instead.
