I feel like Monster Hunter is for sure getting in, but maybe they might save that reveal closer to when Rise is released.

I'd really like MH but I feel like their weapon gimmick lunch might have been eaten a bit by Byleth. I'm sure they'd be able to work something else in, but that seems like a bit of overlap.
Personally my extra Capcom rep would still go to DMC. Dante could get a really fun moveset with weapon/style switching similar to the monado or pokemon trainer, and a style meter similar to Mac's KO punch: as you build style your Danse Macabre does more hits. 1 hit at D rank, up to 7 with SSS.
Overall, I'd like Nero over Dante, because it would be really fun to Max Act your hits, but I can understand the complaints that he'd just be anime swordsman AND a 3rd party. At least Dante can swap to Balrog or Cerberus instead of just Rebellion.
But at the end of the day, I kind of doubt any of them.

I want Dante just so we can finally see him fight against Bayo.
The reveal video only being 3 mins does have me curious tho. Makes me think it might have been planned to be part of a bigger Direct that was prob cancelled.

Take the Monster Hunter Stories angle and you could play as the main character rider and swap out monsties, like how pokemon trainer swapped pokemon.

God no. Nothing against Dante as a character, but he's featured in a tonne of outside games and has been playable in at least 4 different fighting games that I can think of.

Dante would be amazing.
Is love the reveal to be Waluigi hat on the ground and a shadow appears to pick it up.... Then it's another fire emblem character.
Doom guy, minecraft have both been mentioned.
I'd go with Crash as his new game is out soon.

Ubisoft character his moves are inappropriate grab, character relocate to avoid damage, summon a watch tower, dlc drop one, then he has 2 ultimate edition moves one with a statue but no game, multiple hit delays and his super is "genuine apology" where he looks at camera and says "I'm sorry if you feel bad about the bad things we did, coming soon watch dogs 4, woof"
