I haven't actually bought any new characters yet, having burnt myself out on Smash. My plan is to buy everything when FP2 is complete, and dive back into full of new content.

I bought Min Min. Been my only pick to date, having bought the full set across both games for SSB4.

No no I definitely agree that the packs are value for money, especially if you’re interested in the character(the Banjo pack was especially great), I’m just not overly interested in Minecraft and the character’s play style doesn’t look too much up my alley so I probably won’t bother. Same with Byleth/Fire Emblem.

I've brought every DLC so far. Since DLC directly supports the devs I'm more than happy tp to spend the fiver. My first reaction to Byleth was pretty underwhelmed, but the moment I played with them I instantly fell in love with their style and kit lol. Min Min is a mixed bag for me since I love ARMS and glad it's finally getting rep in Smash but her character just doesn't vibe with me at all.

I play enough local Smash (well, not right now, but you know...) with my friends that not getting all of the characters isn't really an option since I'm not just buying for myself.

I miss local Smash. Online just isn't the same :c

In no rush to buy him yet but been watching top players mess around Steve. In the right hands he's gonna be a menace, but seems easy to overwhelm with agression. His blocks are so damn janky. Terrified to see how his meta develops.

Has this game ever been on sale? I still haven't got round to buying it but every time I see new fighter announcements I get the urge to dive in.

Just incase you're not aware the DLC and new fighters aren't free and will be an extra £40 on top of the £40 for the game if you want everything....
