Updated last night and just seen you can play the spirit board now with multiple players? Was interested until I saw the bit about how the battles get harder the more players you've got. Would've been good if it was like an assist mode :shifty:

Blitzing through my second playthrough of World of Light now. Just made it to the last dungeon of the second section. Regretting starting new game plus before getting both the challenges for the final level :slol:

(seems like a very basic new game plus, too. Does anything actually change beyond being able to carry your skill progression/characters over? Was expecting new spirits or something...)

Did you not start a new file with new game +? I was worried about the same thing until realising you could put new game + on a different save slot while retaining the original save

I didn't realise you could do that until it was too late :fp:

How can you see your % progress in WoL?

Quit out to the file select screen (by holding down B).

Is it on there? I could see time played, Fighters unlocked and spirits saved, but nothing to indicate how much more of the map there is to see.

I've done a Google image search - looks like the completion % should be on there, but maybe I'm not far through enough yet.

Is there an easy way to get more of those "spirit-freeing items" (the shield spacer and slow shield things). They don't appear to be in any of the shops and I don't think you can get them from any of the exploration areas, can you?

Also some of these Legend fights are the worst

Keep having that one Donkey Kong fight pop up where he's giant with increased offense and defense and it's just an absolute bloodbath.

I'm pretty sure you can buy them from the shop on the main menu, but they don't always show up. You'll just have to keep checking back.

Thought I'd finished WoL then some darkness thingy happened. Ah well, another load of hours spent on it then. It's so bloody repetitive but I can't help but go back for more :lol:
