I don't think they would've teased it as much if it was. Otherwise why even mention we have to wait for more info >,> Those blurry screens are what had me speculate we're getting at least some kind of new or returning modes.

Question for those who've finished World of Light.

So I beat Galeem, thinking "oh yeah, I've finished the mode!"

Then all of a sudden I'm watching what I expect to be the end cut scene, and another, bigger badder enemy appears, and now I'm on the other side of the map, in the dark realm.

How large is the dark world compared to the light? Approximately how far through the game mode do you reckon I am?

Halfway maybe? Slightly under?

GO UP FIRST it’s by far the worst area and you want it out of the way.

Just wanted to say thanks for this  did Toon Link's classic mode earlier and completed the challenge! Had no idea it had a Four Swords slant.

Now to try and get good at Snake to try his 5.0 intensity challenge...

You’re welcome! :) I think it’s Tri Force Heroes, isn’t it?

You just need to finish at 5.0, so you don’t need to get very good at all.

Yeah, probably that one. I get the games confused :shifty:

Ahhhh, that sounds much more hopeful, then! I started at level 5 and pretty much drone hovered straight to my doom :slol: Will give it another go later!

Did it :datass:

Now moving on to the Smash challenges. Any advice for the ones where you need to win against a level [X] CPU with a 300% handicap? :dread: There's got to be a tactic there or something, surely?

Does it count if you put theirs up to 300% too? Then it's just a case of landing a hit.

EDIT- Ah, I see that you can't. Yeah, I've got nothin'.

EDIT 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO- Try this?

Vs. Jigglypuff, on a tiny stage with one life. Generally with Ganon.

Also, for the down smash one, Ganondorf vs 7 level 9 Jigglypuffs on Final Destination. Just continuously do Down+A (his foot stomp) on the Jigglypuffs and you'll rack up about a dozen KOs.

There are better ways to do that one, because I think you need to stomp them downwards not upwards. (This the Meteor Smash one correct?) I like Donkey Kong (but Ganondorf can work as well) on the SMB2 stage vs. Little Macs. They can’t jump.

Oh, and remember the adjust the launch rate!

I didn't even need to adjust the launch rate - four meteor smashes from Ganon and Jiggly would be rocketed off the screen. You do need to stomp them downwards, but they can die from hitting the floor and bouncing up or out. Again, Ganon's stomp is *so* strawberry floating powerful that it's a breeze to do.

Just read someone saying you can do it with super sudden death? :slol: so that'll be an easy win if I can't just do it with gannondorf :shifty:

Is it wrong that I'm debating picking up Switch online to play Smash for the online challenges? Is the online any good for... well, not a very good player? (I don't think I've ever actually used the shield or a grab :slol: ). Does it try and match you against people with similar skills or will it be "so lol you're just starting you'll do fine against this guy who's played 4,000 hours and is 9th in the world GOOD LUCK"

I've noticed most of the challenges aren't actually about winning, so maybe I can fumble my way through without getting mad that I'm not getting anywhere.

Sure, for casual play the online is perfectly fine, and yes I believe it does try to match you with people who have a similar ranking/GSP with that character. I wouldn't pick up the online just to do online challenges myself, but it's up to you.

Been having some good games with Jezo and Jazzem recently.
