As it's only 140 days until Christmas..... Let's answer this summer's burning question.

Sweet mince pies, yes or no?

Also best brand, warmed up or room temp, by itself or with cream?

Wish my image sig would work

Can't stand mince pies.

Looks like someone enjoys them topless though, the pervert.

They're lovely and should be consumed all year round, not just during Festivus.

Room temperature mince pies are okay

Oven warmed mince pies are good

Oven warmed Ecclefechan tarts are great

(Put some Baileys thick cream on it too)

Love them, if being eaten with cream then always warm, if on their own they’re better warm but I can happily eat them at room temperature.

Sainsburys taste the difference brandy butter ones are my go to choice, with extra thick brandy infused cream

Iced top like a Mr Kipling Bakewell or just with icing sugar on them? Do the former exist?

Also, I would say a topless mince pie is actually a mince tart.

When I was a child I hated them but since the age of around 20 I really love them, I buy some as soon as they arrive in shops on the run up to Christmas

Is the 'sweet' really necessary? Surely when most people say Mince Pie, they mean of the sweet variety.

Great food, but keeping them back until Christmas makes them feel more special so I do that.

Come on guys, the proper name for it should be well understood by now - there was a whole song about it in the 80s and everything:

Sainy's, surely.

As for mince pies, I can take them or leave them - and generally that means leaving them. The shallow, small mince pies are okay, but deep-filled and others are just a bit meh.
