The Nikon D3500 is meant to be a cracking camera, it has just been discontinued so you may get a bargain too.

A good place to get second hand cameras is MPB.

I've got a D5300, which is the next level up but basically the exact same camera with a few more bells and whistles.

Had a quick look and if I'm honest it is probably more expensive than I'm looking at. Essentially I'm interested but I don't know how much I'll actually use it so want to avoid spending £400ish and then not using it again after 3 months or so.

MPB looks like a great site though and I hadn't heard of it before so I'll definitely take a look at it to see what is available!

One of my favourite places Denster. It was a great place to top off a day trip to Hiroshima.

Exactly what I did. Set off back across the sea as the sun was setting. It was breathtaking.

A few pics from the last year, i don't take many still shots these days tbh, and when i do, they're mainly for YT thumbnails, hope you like anyhow...

These little sparrows I see a lot in Cyprus, they come and join me for lunch when I lunch near the beach, they're cheeky and try to pinch bits of bread and lettuce. Cute though.
