Me too, but Red Dead Redemption is being released in October 2018 and there will be at least a year of mainline support. Don't be surprised if GTA VI isn't even announced until 2020 at the earliest. It's so important to Rockstar and so profitable for them there isn't any need to rush it or pimp the franchise. GTA is becoming a one game per generation series.

We will probably need to see GTA Online take a nose dive in popularity before GTA VI will make an appearance. Since that shows no signs of happening were probably going to be waiting a while for any info.

Yep and we haven't had a GTA game this generation (GTA:V was first released on PS3/Xbox 360).

That's right. I can definitely see Rockstar releasing GTA VI near the end of this generation, then re-releasing for the new-gen, then releasing one year later on PC. Clever people.

Maybe I should finally buy the game and see what I'm apparently missing.

I love GTA V as a sandbox to play around in; it's terrific for driving up mountains, admiring the amazing scenery and causing carnage. Preferably whilst one of the excellent radio stations is on. I find the game missions to be frustrating and tedious, though. I feel like this about all of the GTAs.

Never tried online and that seems to be where the action is now.

I never bought GTA V either, only briefly played it at a friends house. It's certainly impressive, but I simply don't have the time to commit to it what with so many other games in the back catalogue.

The online was buggy as hell but great fun when it launched. Over time its suffered from ridiculous currency inflation and all the fun stuff they add is locked behind massive payments that require a) spending a fortune on "micro"transations or b) grinding out the most reward efficient missions over and over (and missions are the least fun part of the online).

I remember once being in the strip club [don't judge] and then suddenly, all these cages spawn in and trap me inside. I literally couldn't do anything to get out. One of the ladies asked if I wanted a dance, to which I agreed, and she just kept bumping into the cages trying to follow her pre-set course. Hackers are so much fun.

I'm sure I've said elsewhere, but I mostly treated the online as a discount Midnight Club. Playing with others usually ended up being a pain, and the missions don't hold much value as solo offerings. Creating and racing on tracks was much better.

I've never bought a copy but have played it a couple of times, it's fun don't get me wrong but it didn't grab me like it has some people. Red Dead Redemption on the other hand I put hundreds of hours into, even just riding around doing sod all on my horse.

360, PS4 and PC and I still haven't finished it or even bothered with online :datass:

And now I can't download the PC version due to a shitty Media Feature pack being missing from my PC that's obviously needed to download GTA via Rockstars download package with the same bullshit stopping me installing PS4's Remote Play.
