Are you questioning me Master Problem? Get that smart look off of your face and stand up straight. And what have you done to that tie? :fp:

If you get "GRcade" in international print or TV then you will get 30 points. For the purposes of the game all the countries of the U.K. and also New Zealand count as national only, no international bonus will be given for making the news in Wellington NZ or Dundee Scotland, even if you are in England.

What constitutes International News?

I am mildly offended by the description of my house and my subsequent inclusion in it. Also, how are we supposed to win with Britain's Worst Teenager as a member? I mean, who let him join in the first place?

News (TV or print) from a country that isn't part of the U.K. or N.Z.

Why doesn't online count? Surely that would be more beneficial and gather more attention?
Only old people read papers and watch TV these days, all the young hip people like myself are reading Reddit.

Seriously, getting an article on a news site would be a greater achievement then getting it in a local newspaper. This is an old fashioned school.

Also I am not sure about House Miyamoto. Sounds a bit Japanese.

In print or on TV as this is supposed to be a challenge and I am not spending weeks arguing over what counts as an online newspaper or why the Daily Mail comments section doesn't count as a GRcade mention.

ATTENTION

It has come to my attention that some of the pupils are planning to cheat and disrupt the smooth running of this school. Such things will not be tolerated. If anybody is caught cheating, disrupting or bullying then there will be repercussions! It is time for you all to stop acting childishly and start getting on with your homework.

Do not make me punish you.

You may keep that on your hands Master D, this is a failing secondary school not Oxford University. The likes of you will not be given any maths problems that require any more than two of your three brain cells.

I can use my TV contacts to get us mentioned on TV. Gonna give Quentin Wilson a ring now.

I was going to call the register this morning but it appears that you are all struggling to get yourselves to school on time. Unacceptable, but typical of the depths that this school has sunk to.

Your first lesson starts immediately and will an Art lesson. Note that this refers to art that you make in the real world, I will not accept anything that has been made in Paint, Photoshop, CAD etc. You must make something with your hands, not your mouse!

You will need to paint, draw, sculpt, photograph, model or build an art piece based on GRcade. How you do this is up to you, maybe you will draw a picture of all of your classmates? Maybe you will design a new logo? Maybe you will build a 50ft high solid gold statue of your favourite classmate? The choice is yours!

Remember you actually have to draw/make this in real life!

Marks will be awarded based on competence but also on effort. I recognise that not everyone is good at art and so the effort that is put in will be recognised. The results will be announced as soon as everything has been marked after the deadline (see below). The next lesson will start after the Art lesson has been fully marked.

In order to have your work marked (and therefore gain your points) you will need to submit your work no later than 9am on Sunday 1 November 2015. For the avoidance of doubt to our international students, this time refers to UK time. There will be no extensions to this and you must follow the following submission routine.

Your work must be submitted for peer review in this thread in advance of the deadline.

Your work must be submitted for the headmaster to mark via a PM in advance of the deadline. The PM must have the title "Back to School - Art". The work contained in the PM must be identical to that posted in the thread.

Failure to submit or failure to submit properly will result in a failure for the week.

Only one submission is allowable, only your first submission will be marked. No exceptions.

ffs - this is going to be a mission to people who have no artistic ability.
