I don't mind having team tasks as regular tasks, but the studio task should always be individual.

Team tasks would probably work better if there were 6 contestants rather than 5. That way neither team would be at a disadvantage depending on what the task is.

Without team studio tasks we wouldn't have had Daisy May Cooper losing her gooseberry fool in the drawing task last year :lol:

Really liking this series thus far. VCM was wearing a temporary face tattoo on Only Connect this week. Could be a task, but also wouldn't be surprised if she was trolling TM fans...

I read that Ed Gamble said the champions of champions show is only one episode

I don't think Victoria Mitchell is very good in this. She gives of the impression that she's not having a good time and that perhaps she's above the whole thing. Bit too snooty for me.

I assumed that is just her entire act. She doesn’t seem any different on this to how she is on any other comedy show I’ve seen her on.

VCM does seem like a very likeable person from my outside perspective. The aloofness and "poshness" might put people off, but she doesn't seem to take herself too seriously.

The latest podcast has VCM on and she explains how nervous she was when filming. She's not a comedian and is known for being brainy and so felt a lot of pressure.

I don't think it's snootiness you're seeing, it's somebody shitting themselves and hoping to hold their own.

I said exactly the same thing about Charlotte Ritchie last series :lol:

Morgana has one of those teaching assistant/art teacher vibes where she'll look ancient when you're seven because she's not following fashion trends and is all Bohemian but then you'll read her obituary in the local paper as an adult and find out she was actually only about thirty when you knew her.

Alex must have been so thrilled at the way they seemed to beat the game, but strawberry floated up over that one rule!

I really enjoyed the "ad" featuring Al Murray. If they ever bring back any non-winners he needs to be top of the list.
