The studio task was contentious. Sue’s heroic act at the end changed the episode leaderboard, and also I don’t think she should have been disqualified - she’d already sipped her drink, so had completed the task.

I can't remember the exact wording of the task, did it specify not crossing the red line before drinking, or just say don't cross the red line?

It probably just said they mustn’t cross the line. But she had finished the task, so arguably it shouldn’t have mattered. I can see both sides, but it was harsh. Worth it for the humour, though it didn’t top Lucy’s reaction to being DQed.

I'm still laughing at Lucy thinking it wasnt possible to pop a balloon from any further away.

I can't apply as we have a baby who needs looking after, but FYI in case anyone here fancies trying for a ticket.

Does anyone know if Susan went to RADA?

Sam was on top form this week, with his story about the flight-path protest sculpture. And the reaction of the child when he bribed her! I really hoped they’d have her confront him in the studio for the £100.

Thought it was an excellent season. That last team task was brilliant, lost it at Susan cracking up at the suitcase

A top series this year. I was dubious when I saw the line up but sometimes the lesser known people are the better contestants. Some great tasks but also a few odd ones. Didn't care for that weird exercise one in the finale but the hotel one was great.

The new year's special looks like an awful cast though. Often the case with the specials though. It would be good if they could at least stretch the specials out to two episodes, a new year's and Christmas one or something.

I think the hotel task as one of the best they've ever done, I was struggling to breathe from laughing so much. A worthy season winner.

In very odd news, Kiell is replacing Mae for Champion of Champions.

Apparently Mae Martin is prioritising building a career in America. Fair enough. And there is form for substitutions - Katy Wix stood in for someone in the live shows. EDIT: Other way round - Kerry Godliman stood in for her.

They’re considering setting up a Taskmaster live experience… if 100,000 fans show their interest.

Excellent, loved Kiell on this as well. I hope it’s more than just one episode. The original champions was two episodes but the second one only one episode. I have a sad-feeling this will be as well.
