Watching the catch-up versions of Series 10 on either All4 or SkyGo and every swear word is bleeped out with the annoying 'ping' noise that they usually have on for the daytime re-runs of the Dave series.

That have 2 versions, there is the normal one with all the swears and a "family friendly" version without the swears

There's a lack of chemistry this season and the contestants are generally doing tasks in a normal way.

Tasks seem to have no imagination and are boring to watch.

This is spot on. The team task where they had to 'discover' how to get out the gate without the siren going off was the worst designed task in the series' history.

I've enjoyed it - I think most of the contestants have added something. Jamali and Wozniak and very funny and lateral thinking, Sarah and Charlotte very likeable and both mildly insane.

For me, the problem is Lee Mack. Despite liking the picture round. He's naturally quick witted and competitive, so this should make him ideal material for the show. But, he doesn't really have anyone being competitive right back, so he goes route 1 almost every time and doesn't have anyone similar to play off against, as he does with David Mitchell in Would I lie to you.

I'll go mad if he puts on that daredevil helmet and cape on one more time; he clearly thought it would be hilarious and has stuck with it, but it really isn't.

And yes, some of the tasks have been poor too. Then again they often are and it's up to the contestants to make them funny, or rather for the chemistry between them to make it funny.

To be fair to the Evel Knievel outfit, it was quite funny the first time. I do think they make them stick to their chosen outfits, though. Probably for continuity or something. Noel Fielding had his skeleton hazmat suit, Daisy May had her cape with her swimming badges, and Phil Wang had his Kill Bill tracksuit, off the top of my head.

The season 12 contestants have apparently leaked so I'm assuming they are getting announced after the final episode today:

Alan Davies (QI), Desiree Burch (Live At The Apollo), Guz Khan (Man Like Mobeen), Morgana Robinson (The Morgana Show) and Victoria Coren Mitchell (Only Connect).

That’s an OK lineup, but no Vegas/Cooper eccentrics to make it wilder.

I know four of them, and they're pretty good. This could be a very good season.

EDIT: Having looked up Desiree Burch I actually know all five of them. They're all potentially very funny.

I've been watching the NZ version. It's not as good, but it's not terrible. The worst thing about it so far is the young guy who looks like Iain Sterling. He's an absolute twat

Pretty average final episode. The team tasks really have been stinkers.

I enjoyed the episode. When Mike fell over in the bunker me and the wife were in stitches.

I'm not a fan of the team tasks in general. They're never as funny, and make no sense for scoring in the context of the show.

Thought the episode was decent overall, solid 7/10 for the series. Looking forward to Victoria Coren Mitchell next series.

The team tasks this season have been especially brutal because of the social distancing stuff. They haven't been able to really do anything and usually just end up standing on boxes shouting at one another.

It was weird just how much the haircut suited him. I think he could get away with any look.

He's just a funny bloke who doesn't seem to try and be funny most of the time. It feels like he is just being himself.
