Taskmaster - Channel 4 (Thursdays 9pm). Best show on television. Series 15 airing now!

I would like to give an update on my feelings around this series. I rewatched the first episode and then the second one last night. I am much happier with it now and much have just been a bit grumpy last week and clearly didn’t pay a lot of attention to it as I was setting up my new phone :lol:

I wasn't expecting a Nixon impression. :lol:

Katherine’s unforced daftness is delightful (contrasted with Joe Thomas’s practised dimness). Not realising she could blow up the balloons, and not putting the balls in the dinghy. But the dinosaur, and her and Alex’s reactions to it, was the highlight.

I didn’t realise that Channel 4 had also bagged the streaming and broadcast rights to all the previous series. That’s a hell of a loss for Dave.

Indeed, that's a real killer blow.

All Dave's original stuff looks really good and when I've watched stuff like Ultimate Worrier etc it's been funny. However Taskmaster is the only one I've ever actually watched properly. And even then I saw adverts on the tube that made it look great for two years and only got in halfway through series three when I tuned in by chance!

Dave are still showing repeats of the older series so it seems they share the rights to those ones.
