I'd probably put 9 at the bottom.

Jo Brand just sucks enjoyment out of anything she's in now. Her entire routine has been "I'm fat, lol" in everything she's done for as long as I can remember.

Madness. 9 was tremendous. Far better than 6 or 8. Really liked Jo and David on the team tasks.

Good cast doesn't always translate to good show.

7 > 3 > 4 > 9 > 5 > 2 > 1 > 6 > 8

I can't remember who was in what series but I agree, Baddiel was so bad at every task that he never failed to make me laugh.

Loved season 9, I cant wait for season 10 now.

I've watched part of the Norwegian version and it was pretty great, although I couldn't understand what was being said. Considering the guys who sing "what does the fox say" were 2 of the contestants, it was pretty funny. Best task was when they had to make "american home videos" :lol:

Sounds like there’s a good friendly rivalry between Vegas and Cooper. Should liven things up if they have a nemesis to spark off.

Ha, yeah partly that. I’m fairly sure it coincides with him becoming a father, but he’s become unbearably self-righteous. And he’s written the most puke-inducingly schmaltzy radio sitcom about family life. Had to mute him on Twitter because of his endless self-promotion.

Last time we went to see him live he spent the entire second half trying to sell his dvds from a table on the stage, talking about how we could subscribe to his badge thing and so on. We're at your show now, we've paid for it, strawberry floating stop trying to sell us gooseberry fool.

Yeah, that sounds about right. I get that people have to promote themselves in that industry, but he takes it too far.

Was Jo Brand, David Baddiel, Rose Matafeo, Ed Gamble and Katy Wix, who was off sick for a couple of recordings. I thought 9 was pretty high up there in terms of quality.

They are recording audience reaction (sound) next week, so the episodes must be ready to go.

I'd guess the new series starts very soon after that, sometime in September.

I only started watching taskmaster in March, currently upto season 8 which seems weaker so far

Great news.

I saw on Reddit that they're doing the season 11 live shows in the coming days too so i'm guessing we'll know who is going to be in season 11 soon too.

Not massive on Richard Herring and I don't know that Mawaan chap, but it seems like a pretty good lineup!

I’ve been binge watching all the old series in preparation. I hope covid hasn’t affected it too much.

Yeah saw the ad for it during GBBO last night, looking forward to it, cast looks proimising but you never know what theyll actually be like until the show gets underway.

I saw the advert but wasn’t paying attention. I noticed a few familiar things (like painting on horseback) but couldn’t tell if it was old clips, or if they’ve been recycling task ideas from the series that were on Dave.

They are just reintroducing the concept of the show to a channel audience who don't know what it is/have never heard of it.

Dont underestimate the ability of the nation to still stick to the five main channels.

I really don't mind seeing a few older tasks repeated if I'm honest. Some of the tasks of the past nine seasons have been utterly spectacular to the point where it would be great to see how others fare with them.
