The miserable bastard inside me was furious as there was no way he did that in 20 minutes.

He deserved to win though!

I always kind of work on the assumption for the creative tasks that they have twenty minutes to plan it, and can take a bit of additional time if needed.

Thought this was the best season yet. Absolutely blistering effort from everyone involved.

I don’t get Dave out here so it’s good news for me. Do we know if four will be showing repeats of the Dave seasons? That would be useful

Autumn next year is a bloody long way off. Pehaps bigger budget means lengthier negotiations with bigger international names?

I don’t think I want that, the format works really well with shitty British comedians and there’s still a decent pool of them left. :shifty:

I think it's because each series tends to take 6-12 months to film and they couldn't start signing up new contestants until the contract with a broadcaster had been signed.

Cracking last season with a worthy winner, definitely one of the best to date.

I will update the OP of this when I get time, but with a newborn just arrived I’m not sure when that’ll be. If anybody wants to take over it they’re welcome, just let me know.

Has it been filmed yet or do they do it after the announcement? I suppose apart from the team tasks and the studio bit it's not as difficult to film socially distanced as you'd think.

I think either Matt Lucas or Harry Hill will be on it, C4 Bake Off synergy and all that.

My predictions: John Thomson, Marcus Brigstocke, Rachel Parris, Sean Lock, Ivo Graham.

Then again, that’s not enough women, so substitute in Ellie Taylor and Harriet Kemsley.
