Have a feeling Richard Ayoade will be one of them. I know they've been wanting to get him for ages but he's been unable to due to filming Travel Man. He finished with that last year and before series 10 would have begun filming.

It sounds like Richard Herring is definitely one of them. Apparently he's doing 5 days of filming this week for something to be shown in Autumn. Taskmaster studio stuff is filmed over 5 days.

The studio parts for series 9 were filmed towards the end of July last year with the series being aired at the beginning of September so we could be getting series 10 in September too depending on Channel 4's scheduling. My guess is that it will be their Friday night 9pm show.

I'm definitely interested to see the cast list with the move to Channel 4. The last two series probably had the weakest lineup of the lot really.

EDIT: Apparently Daisy May Cooper from This Country is off filming something this week so she might be on it.

According to an interview with Alex Horne, it's not a typical Channel 4 line-up which rules out quite a few of the predictions so far.

It seems that John Robins is on it too. He's mentioned on 5Live that he's been filming something that he's not allowed to mention the name of and that he's been working in Chiswick. Taskmaster house in is Chiswick.

Thinking about it, someone else I think I'd like to see in the lineup is Dara Ó Briain. Surprised he was never on while Dave were making it to be honest.

Johnny Vegas is usually good value.

Vegas, Herring and Parkinson I know. I recognise the other woman (that Swindon sitcom? I've never seen it) but no idea who the other bloke is.

Should be good though!

Vegas tends to suck up all the air from the people around him. Cast looks decent, so long as it doesn’t just become the Johnny Vegas show. Happy that they haven’t gone down the generic C4 comedians route, but equally a bit sad they didn’t get Ayoade.

That’s a great line-up. I’m a big fan of Herring’s previous work, but he’s become a bit of a knob lately. The rest are all good.

No one can be as bad as Lou Sanders in series 8 can they?

Johnny Vegas may not be too bad as there is no studio audience this year so he may be a bit more reserved than usual.

Cast looks good but a lot of it will depend on them chemistry between all of them which is what let series 6 and 8 down.

No Ayoade though.

Hopefully they will get him for series 11.

Ha, yeah partly that. I’m fairly sure it coincides with him becoming a father, but he’s become unbearably self-righteous. And he’s written the most puke-inducingly schmaltzy radio sitcom about family life. Had to mute him on Twitter because of his endless self-promotion.

Last time we went to see him live he spent the entire second half trying to sell his dvds from a table on the stage, talking about how we could subscribe to his badge thing and so on. We're at your show now, we've paid for it, strawberry floating stop trying to sell us gooseberry fool.

How anyone can think the Series 9 cast was better than the Series 6 cast is beyond me. 8 and 9 were easily the worst overall lineups, and by quite a significant margin.

The cast for series 6 was fine, it's just the fact it was a very underwhelming series compared to everything that had come before it.

Series 8 had a pretty poor line-up and there wasn't much chemistry between anyone so the studio parts weren't that great either.

The series 9 cast may not have looked great to begin with, but the series turned out to be excellent.

9 was definitely better than 6.
