Seems fine for me.

Looks to possibly be a network issue on my end. Strange that it's only affecting Google sites though

EDIT: Changing DNS settings seems to have fixed it.

Dang it, the creatures in my loft are now super annoying. I've been woken in four of the past five nights at around 0330am by (gaaaaaaargh!)... "scampering"; I think it's squirrels as I have seen them climbing over the roofs of our flats before.

I had a quick look around on Sunday and didn't find anything but I think I'm gonna have to get back into the loft for a proper search. I've got a lot of junk up there and looking around is tricky, though. Oh well, it's gotta be done.

What makes you sure it’s squirrels?

I've done a wee bit of detective work, Buff:

> I've seen squirrels on the roofs of the flats
> The movement sound they make is like a 'scurrying" rather than the hopping/flapping of a bird
> I don't think it's rats although it remains a possibility

I'm about to get up into the loft and take a look. It kinda feels like a Resident Evil moment.

I have just popped up to the loft and had a look around.

Right at the edge of the roofing there are some gaps (kinda under the tiles of the edge of the roof) where sunlight comes through; I think most roofs have this to allow airflow?

But... there were a few old cushions in the loft (from when I moved in last century) and I've stuffed them into the gaps. There weren't enough cushions to cover the whole area so I'll have to see how it goes.

Just pack the entire loft with blutac, it's the only way to be sure.

You really haven't had any luck with wildlife where you live have you. First wasps, then parakeets, now squirrels?

You'll need to release gorillas next to deal with the squirrels.

Alas, my supplies have run out. Just as an update, though - the blue tack that I put on my window sill (three years ago?) to fill the hole that the wasps were in is still there. It has been tremendous!

It was pretty spooky, Vermi. I had a torch so I was able to have the full Resident Evil experience.

I know, man! I live in a London suburb and you'd kinda think that wildlife would have been lost to concrete and rubbish, but no... my flats remains a haven for animals and insects, it seems.

It's fine, the blutac just needs to hold then everything will be ok.

Are you sure they haven't worked out how to teleport? They could be flying to the flats right this second with holy hand grenades and banana bombs.

Oh, wait. Wrong W-named animal.

Yeah, the first one's alright. Will you be putting yourself through the second one though? That is the question.

This is a good question - I've heard it's even worse so my enthusiasm isn't great!

The kids weren't massively into the first one so I doubt they'll be putting pressure on me to watch the sequel so there's a good chance it will never get watched at this point!

The game tie-in for the first Amazing Spider-Man is surprisingly good for a tie-in game. As I recall it acted as a bit of a sequel to the film as well plot wise.

Currently watching painting with Bob Ross on BBC4 and can’t help but think they’ve had to make do replaying this bloke from America because they can’t show our version (Rolf Harris) any more.

As an aside, the size of the new BBC FOUR on-screen graphic is ridiculous.
