Celebrating Thanksgiving this Thursday for the first time ever. And by celebrate I mean cook a Christmas dinner as practice for next month. Got a good deal at Costco when I pre-ordered my Christmas turkey for a Thanksgiving one so I thought I'd give it a go. Christmas is the only time of year I cook turkey and I'm never happy with it, so fingers crossed the practice helps.

Just had a text that Fed-Ex has received it and it's arriving tomorrow.

Just completed a rubbish collection from around the site and the road. Filled a large black sack with junk. Some scumbag has left a double mattress against one of the fences :fp:

I'm always annoyed that people can just drop rubbish around but it feels good to see the site clean again.

It’s a box set of the western themed tv show Deadwood starring Ian McShane.

Reported the scam transactions to my bank this morning, got the money credited to my account while they conduct an investigation, which I'll hear back about in a month or two, and I had a new debit card printed this afternoon.

Really don't know if it's going to go my way or not, I feel like I ballsed up my answers to the questions asked. The lady on the phone, when I reported the disputes, didn't give me much of a chance to fully explain it. But maybe that's for the best.

Shaun Murphy has blasted snooker authorities for allowing amateur players to compete in professional tournaments.

The 2005 world champion suffered a huge upset against Si Jiahui of China in the first round of the UK Championship on Tuesday evening, losing a thrilling clash 6-5 at the York Barbican.

Afterwards, Murphy - beaten by Mark Selby in the World Championship final at The Crucible earlier this year - ranted that Si should never have been in the competition in the first place.

"I feel extremely hard done by that I have lost to someone who shouldn't even be in the building,” he told BBC Radio 5 Live.

"I don't know why we as a sport allow amateurs to compete in professional tournaments. This is our livelihood. This is our living. We are self-employed individuals and not contracted sportsmen. We don't play for a team.

"The other 127 runners and riders in the tournament, it is their livelihood too. It is wrong, in my opinion, to walk into somebody who is not playing with the same pressures and concerns I am.

"He played like a man who does not have a care in the world, because he does not have a care in the world. It is not fair, it is not right.

"I am not picking on him as a young man, he deserved his victory. Amateurs should not be allowed in professional tournaments, the end.

"This is our livelihood. This is how I put food on the table. This is how I earn money. Since turning professional at 15, I have earned the right to call myself a professional snooker player. He hasn't done that. He shouldn't be on the table."

Let's feel sorry for the guy who has won millions in his career as clearly amateur players don't need to put food on the table.

This is massive sour grapes and just makes him look like a twat.

Yeah, it kinda feels like there is a lot more to the outburst than may first appear. The guy probably has a few problems behind the scenes and thus this raging was a bit ugly.
