Ah sorry to hear that dude. I know the CIR roles are very competitive (if that's what you went for). They're not very transparent about how they choose interview candidates either. Sure you'll get it next time!

Yeah I went for CIR but said I'd be happy to do ALT otherwise. Ah well, I don't necessarily need that to get to Japan it just would've been easier. Just going to have to try a different way while saving some more money. My salary just went up so that's a good bonus.

I had banners for a bit about that too. I bought loads of tools around black Friday and kept checking the invoices of them (so I could keep my super cool budgeting spreadsheet up to date) which might flag something in their system.
