"Of you have any further questions"?

That feeling when you begin to question the attention to detail of the place where you're about to be operated on... :dread:

As long as I don't end up as Alexander the Great's chief eunuch then it will all be fine!

Jesus Christ guys praise the NHS and if anyone suggests ‘management restructures’ or whatever just strawberry floating punch them in the throat for me.

Spent three hours on the phone today with a (very helpful and totally blameless) dude just trying to figure out if anyone can give me a strawberry floating solid answer on what my surgery next week will cost. Now I’m in a very complex position for various reasons that I don’t wanna bore you with but next Saturday could genuinely cost me anything between £150 and £22k. And no one can give me a strawberry floating answer.

Private healthcare lads, capitalism makes everything so much more efficient.

Yea but the issue is that I’ve moved jobs, even though I’m insured under the same policy but under a new employer, which carries over. So the person paying for my healthcare has changed, even though the policy hasn’t, and they’re arguing that the medical issue that arose last year (whilst covered by the same insurer but a different employer paying for it) and now the needed surgery (covered by the SAME strawberry floating INSURER ON THE SAME POLICY but paid for by a new employer) technically comes under two different policies which technically makes it a pre existing condition.

From them. To them. By them.

This is a very sensible system and I will make sure my next MP supports privatisation.

Ack, who needs savings anyway?

I’m having a complete ‘mare with the NHS at the minute. It’s a huge, bloated multi-tentacled mess of a monster. Had to self-refer myself eventually, 3 hospitals and their subsequent NHS trusts didn’t have a clue. A sprawling disorganised mess.

I think Ad7 and Jenuall should work for Fullfact, we'd never be able to tell what's real without them.
