Had a spa retreat in Wales booked for my missus' birthday next weekend, but they've just emailed to say that all spa treatments have been cancelled up to the 4th due to "difficulty in staffing" with the "current climate", which basically means someone probably tested positive.


Our options are either reschedule for when they reopen or, bizarrely, keep the booking and just not use the spa on a spa retreat??

I'm having an issue with my mini-pc displaying on my TV. It always fit fine at the recommended settings of 3840x2160. I changed it to see how it would look at different resolutions, then switched it back to the 3840 one.

The problem is that there's now big black borders on the left and right hand sides of the screen. Anyone know how i can fix this?

Your TV hasn't tried to be too smart for it's own good and changed something in its settings automatically while you were doing that?

It's a good shout, I'll have a wee look around in the TV settings.

I tend to read the news way less than I used to (too much horrible stuff going on in the world ) but I just saw a report by the BBC about how gangs of moped riders in London are attacking cyclists and stealing their bikes... armed with machetes.

strawberry-floatin' hell. I dunno how this level of violent behaviour can be stopped, really .

That report says that type of crime is falling to be fair.

I saw a mate for the football on Friday night and we had a few beers; I had three pints.

I've not really drunk much at all since the COVID lockdown started and after those few beers I felt a bit rough and tired for most of yesterday .
