Awesome. You've got to admire people that go all in on something like that.

"I love Jurassic park, strawberry float it, I'm driving to work in a Jurassic park jeep from now on"

Yeah it's an impressive level of commitment that you have to admire!

It's not actually a Jeep so they lose some points for authenticity, but it's a close enough shape that the effect still works

So I've only just found out about Inside No 9 and it's bloody brilliant.

Hit and miss as any anthology is, but I'm on season 3 and already need both hands to count how many episodes are some of my favourite episodes of anything ever.

Personally I think season three is the best all around season. S6 started this week and the first episode was unfortunately dreadful. Hopefully they've got their season dud out of the way early.

No idea who it belongs to, it's a shared car park so it's likely someone who works for another company sadly. I may never know who this hero is!

When it's good, it's really good.

The 12 Days of Christine is incredible television.

I must watch that show. I think I seen one episode where everyone was hiding in a wardrobe.

Im getting a star by far award at work. It's similar to Employee of the month. Nice surprise. 15 quid amazon voucher too which i'll put towards the new Ratchet and Clank. Been a really hectic few weeks so it's nice to get a bit of recognition. Normally sceptical about these sort of things but it's been implemented recently and its been well received. As I've had the two vaccines I'm not shielded now (wasn't off but was restricted to one ward) so that's cool too.

I'd happily take a £15 Uber Eats voucher instead at this point...noticed today my nearest fish and chip shop has put their prices up. They now want £3 for chips, £9.90 for large cod ('what are you battering, the whole cod?'), and £2.70 for a saveloy or sausage in batter.

Pretty much 20 quid gone just for a pint and fish a chips. Ya bustin' my balls, maaaan.

I might have to try Sainsbury's Cafe again. :shifty:

Though for £5.50 it doesn't look half bad, tbh...

What's everyone else paying? Last time I had it in 'spoons the battered fish tasted suspiciously like Young's Chip Shop range. Which as we all know is a load of gooseberry fool.

I can't remember the last time I had fish & chips, or even a takeaway in general - always seems a massive rip-off. But looking at the prices around here, the going rate seems to be:

Large Cod: £6.50
Large Battered Sausage: £2.00
Large Chips:£3.50

One place charges £5.00 for large chips :dread: :fp:
