No wonder as a nation we're an international embarrassment.
I hate the British abroad, such a strawberry floating embarrassment. Generally we try to avoid them if there's any where we're staying, but they always try to make friends with you.
"Ello, you woz on are flight wasn't you! E're don't you find the food a bit funny?"
strawberry float. Off.
Genuinely once overheard someone on the beach in Spain (Benidorm) say they had to go back to their apartment to "check on the roast" as apparently their husband couldn't cope without his sunday lunch.
FFS, there's so many English bars in Benidorm that do sunday roasts if for some inexplicable reason you want that in 35c heat.
The place itself is actually really nice if you ignore all the places catering to the "oi oi bantz" brigade, which is easily done as its a fairly large area with plenty of proper Spanish restaurants and bars where you rarely see any of the most obnoxious brits.
