That makes me sad about Clarke. I loved him whenever he showed up in the show. The scene with his gran in the Cyberman alternate universe episode was lovely.

Well in something of a surprising turn of events today I learned that I apparently have some kind of mutant super powers!

Cooking roasties for a bank holiday treat this afternoon (oh yeah, I know how to live it up!) and I had a dish full of oil sat in the oven at 220 getting all nice and hot ready to put the potatoes in but when taking it out it slips from my hand momentarily and pours the hot fat literally all over my left hand!

As soon as it hits I feel the intense heat and think 'strawberry float, this bad' but I can't do anything about it because I'm still holding a boiling hot dish and need to get it somewhere safe before anyone else gets hurt! Eventually I get the dish with the remaining oil down on the side away from causing anymore damage to someone and shove the hand in cold water. So I'm sat there with my hand in freezing water contemplating just how bad this is going to be when I think to myself 'this doesn't actually seem to hurt now' so I take my hand out and there's no sign of any burning at all - just spotless, unharmed skin!

So yeah, where do I sign up for the Avengers?

I did the same thing a few years back, only I dropped the oil on my foot. Completely wrote me off for the best part of a week.
