I'm sure Glasgow has some really rough areas but what I saw was great. Had a great time with the lads we went to visit a mate, even though we accidentally stayed in a brothel.

I imagine Glasgow is just like most other major UK cities with the usual mix of nice and grim places.

Not much to tell other than my mate had booked the cheapest place he could without checking Tripadvisor reviews or anything like that because it was a place to crash at the end of night. When we got a taxi at the airport and told the taxi driver where we wanted to go he burst out laughing and said "oh aye, staying in the brothel are we lads?!"....when we got there it was pretty grim. Remember when we were leaving Sunday morning, saw this young girl leading some old fat bloke into the room opposite us :dread:

I got caught speeding in Glasgow once, on the way to Bunni’s place. They let me off, though. Great city :shifty:

Some mates once went to Amsterdam and stayed in a house (this was way before air b and b). A few days later the owners of that house came back and wondered what the strawberry float they were doing in their house. The guy that they'd found who'd rented the place out was just some dodgey strawberry floater who'd got hold of a copy of their keys :dread:

Just about every pub/restaurant in Glasgow is dog friendly. Just not in the kitchens

Presumably that means there's a handful of dogs at most sitting under tables for fairly short periods of time and not looked after by the staff, rather than 15 cats constantly all over stuff filling the place with hair, though.

Reminds me of the time my aunt was babysitting me at hers when I was 3. I opened her fridge and ate half a tin of cold baked beans she had in there when she went to the toilet.

Why did she go to the toilet in the fridge?
