I urge everyone to start off with Budweiser Budvar, and then move along to Budweiser, Bud Light Platinum, Budweiser 66, and then finally Bud Light. You'll hopefully be so pissed by the end you won't notice the rapidly declining quality.

If you are that pissed after 5 Budweiser's then I doubt you are the sort of person that will notice the quality.

You know Budvar and the American Budweiser are unrelated beers, right?

That was kind of the point.

I genuinely couldn't tell. It looked like you were just including it as part of a horizontal tasting of the Budweiser range.

Well in the sense you start off with the real one, and then move onto knock offs, the quality gradually diminishing as you move again.

I think we're the only country that ruled both have legal rights to the name, both companies arguing they're the real Budweiser in numerous courts.

Well Budvar is a good beer. I just wish I could finally find somewhere that stocked their B:Strong and B:Dark varieties. I keep hearing about them but can't find it anywhere.

Budvar is absolutely fine unless you're the worst kind of beer snob. Goes down nice and easy, and gets the job done fine.

Budvar is a nice pint, rare to see around my area on tap though.

A nice excuse to travel to the Czech Republic. You can then try and recreate Czech Streets while you're there ('What do you mean it's all staged...')

All lager tastes like fizzy piss, real Ale is where its at.
