Driving in a car park last night, one way road, came up behind a stationary car. Start moving round her, she starts reversing and goes into me.

Gets out and says “did you not see my reverse light was on?!”

“Did you not see....my car?”

She said she was reversing because she’d seen a spot in a lane she’d just passed. I looked at the lane and it was also one way, no entry from our direction :fp:

It may be one way, but she was reversing up that lane so that makes it okay as her car is still facing the right direction. :shifty:

I've seen people think speed bumps are nothing worth slowing for before, but I've never seen people overtake someone who's following the correct use of speed bumps acting as though they're the one in the wrong. Until yesterday, that is. Some people on the roads really have no idea how the roads are actually meant to be used, it seems.

Speaking of speed bumps, it amazes me the amount of people who don't understand how those squarish ones work. You can just drive directly over them as they fit between the spacing of the wheels, they're there to stop low riding cars (as in chav cars). But nooo, let's slam the brakes on, then drive the car wide and put the off side directly over the middle, thereby raising and slowing the car far more than nessasary.

I used to know someone who was an incredibly impatient driver and thought that speed bumps were some kind of evil creation designed just to infuriate him personally.

He would fly over them where possible, particularly the little ones that most cars are wide enough to straddle anyway. If he came across a full width one then he would often mount the curb to go around.

Just so he could go a bit quicker, in a place where it has been identified that going quicker is dangerous. strawberry floating idiot.

My mate has politely refused the gift of Mjolnir as his wife has said there is no room for it and it would end up stuck in a cupboard.
So I have nobly agreed to keep it for myself.
