Ah strawberry float I just had a memory out of nowhere that I used to wear white jeans when I first started going out :dread: :dread: :dread:

That was like some deep repressed memory gooseberry fool. I'm going to be cringing at that all day now

Can he not get compensation or something?

For sure, they’ve already told him they’re willing to pay and asked him how much he charges normally. They know he’s got them dead to rights, he’s just considering his options I think.

How much they are willing to pay?

That’d be fine if they were asking to use it, as they already have then I’d say it’s up to your friend to set the cost, not them!

To be honest, I don’t know how it works but surely they have to pay more than his standard because otherwise why bother asking just wait and see if you’re caught?

It actually seems like the author and publisher paid an “illustrator” who presented the work as his own (he changed two colours) and his response has been he didn’t think it was a copyrighted image.

I don’t know how it works either, but it makes sense to me that it would be wrong for them to say “Yeah we used it without permission but we will only pay a maximum of £10 for it”. They surely have to pay what he thinks is fair or else risk him taking them to court?

Tesco 'meal deal queen' gets tribute tattoo of lunch that 'changed her life'

Over the course of two years, Lizzie Proctor from Bournemouth spent a whopping £2,190 on Tesco meal deals.

As a result the 22-year-old has been branded the 'meal deal queen' and she claims her favourite lunch, consisting of a southern fried chicken wrap, cheese and onion crisps and an orange Lucozade has "changed her life".

From that day onwards that was it, I decided that was the meal I was going to have to eat for the rest of my life - every day.
I have bought one every day for the last two years, it has been pure dedication and it got so bad that even if I was hungover or too tired to leave the house, I would get my housemates to go and get me one

To be fair-southern fried chicken, cheese and onion crisps and a Lucozade, she's nailed it.

The snack is interchangeable, but it's the triple chicken sandwich with a protein milkshake thing every time, surely.

The article never actually explains how it changed her life. Is it that she's now got diabetes to go with her awful tattoo?

I'd imagine she probably calls it Tezzies.

I mean the cost works out at 1 per day for two years - how the strawberry float is that newsworthy?

That truly sad thing is that the tattoo has a deep meaning, but now we won't hear it because we've made fun of it.
