Same. I just wish I hadn't wasted so much holiday and could have had the rest of this week off.

I'd like to track down the fuckwit who decided that a fireworks party last night at 11.45 was a good strawberry floating idea when a lot of people were back to work the following day.

Same, but at least I've come into a half-empty office with no managers above me being in, so I just can just plug in my headphones and chill my way through the day clearing emails and posting on the forum working hard.

It's our reports day - the hardest day of the month - so no such joy for me.

Ah well, at least it's Wednesday already.

Ran out of patches on Sunday and meant to buy some yesterday but got through it no problem. Today has been rough so far. Basically had a horrendous cough for the past month or so and it's been the catalyst to finally kick the strawberry floating things after 18 years.

I’m 8 weeks or so out. It does get easier. Just learn to forgive yourself if you tap one now and then.

9.5 weeks later and I'm still "clean". :toot:

Not gonna lie but I do miss them at times.

How you getting on Bunni?

Same, i think everyone apart from me and the other person who started at the same time are in because we haven't got the flexitime built up/more holday allowance to take the rest of this week off too like everyone else. If its this dead all day i'm tempted to flexi off an hour or two this afternoon as i'll definitely make it back next week when i have a lot more on.

Well done, hardest drug in the world to pack in (probably).

I packed in about 10 years ago, got hypnotised for it, best £250 I ever spent.

Btw, the cravings lessen obviously but you still get mild cravings even years later.

Has anyone glitter bombed his neighbour? I'd chip in a tenner for it.

Put on the address label 'Mr Noisy banana split'

I hope they're stored right next to the regular sausage rolls.

Thanks man.

The cravings haven't been too bad actually. Mostly it's a feeling that I "should" be having a cigarette, or a passing thought that seems to romanticise things like the first draw, or exhale after a long wait for one. But they're quickly caught and stamped on. Not had a "need" for one since that angry, angry day 9 weeks ago. (I genuinely thought I was going to murder someone that day  )

I really missed them on Christmas and Boxing day though. Cigarettes were a great excuse to take a break from everyone and just grab a couple of minutes of peace for myself, especially when my family start to wind me up or get annoying.

Had to suffer through it this year and I'm not sure I managed to successfully hide it completely.

That’s just as pointless as McDonald’s doing salads.

I think vegans would eat them, but I'd highly doubt they'd be healthy. Probably some mash up of soya and wheat and a few herbs and rapeseed oil....hmmm, lovely :fp:

Marketing ploy to get people talking about the product when it first comes out.

Seemingly one that's working as intended.

It's stupid. People are talking about how stupid it is.

That's the point. In talking about how stupid it is people are still talking about the product and spreading awareness of it.
It's a tried and tested method of marketing something.
